Collection of compensation for businesses and organisations
If your enterprise has been the victim of a criminal act, we can collect compensation on behalf of the enterprise.
You must give us permission
If you want us to collect a compensation from a criminal act on behalf of your enterprise, we'll send you a letter requesting consent to collect the compensation. You must state the enterprise's account number. If you give us permission to collect, we'll send an invoice to the person who is ordered to pay the compensation.
We will only collect interest in cases where it's stated in the conclusion of judgement that interest must be added to the claim.
If the case progresses to enforced collection, we'll not collect money on behalf of the enterprise if the enterprise has the resources to do this. This means that in most cases, enterprises must report the case to an enforcement officer if the claim is not paid voluntarily.
