Enforcement proceedings

If you do not pay invoices and reminders, we may start enforcement proceedings. This means that we can make deductions from your income or place an attachment on your assets.

Attachment proceedings

When carrying out attachment proceedings, we’ll determine how to cover an unpaid claim.
Marks on your credit record

You’ll get a mark on your credit record if, for example, someone is making a deduction from your income or has placed an attachment on your assets.
Deductions from your income

We may order your employer, NAV, or others to make deductions from your income.
Attachments placed on assets

If you have an unpaid claim that has led to us conducting enforcement proceedings, we may place an attachment on your belongings.
Cost of living expenses

If you have a deduction from your income, you should have enough money left to cover the necessary costs of living.
Offsetting refunds

Unpaid claims may be offset, which means that refunds may be used to cover the claim.
Collecting enforcement fines

If decisions on access and contact arrangements, parental responsibility, and custody are not respected, we may collect an enforcement fine on your behalf.
