You cannot pay, defer, or split your claim in this period.
As of 1 January 2026, new debt collection rules will take effect and several collection authorities will be merged into one: the Collection Authority in the Tax Administration. This means that we are:
- phasing out sismo.skatteetaten.no and moving all the content to skatteetaten.no
- rebuilding and updating skatteetaten.no for a few days from and including 1 January
About us
The Norwegian National Collection Agency (SI) is part of the Tax Administration.
SI is the collection authority on behalf of other public agencies and some private organisations, for example, the police, the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund (Lånekassen) and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration. This means that SI can collect, amongst other things, fines, compensations, enforcement fines, and student loans.
How to make payments towards claims
The invoice you receive will have information on how to make payments. You can pay the claim on My page via a self-service solution that requires no login at statensinnkreving.no or in your online bank.
